Synopsis

A blonde and blue-eyed girl, Ninnoc, observes the social systems of belonging and popularity at school. She dances, sings, and questions her own identity, displaying a front that ultimately reveals the effects of isolation she actively tries to conceal.

An emerging force representing diaspora filmmakers, Niki is best known for her award-winning short documentary, Ninnoc, a captivating and gentle film which wowed audiences of all ages at IDFA, Berlinale, and many other prestigious film festivals.
